The Andhra Pradesh Government's Objective is starting the Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG), is to train skilled, efficient and employable young engineers to become knowledge workers. The Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC) whose genesis directly credited to the farsighted initiative of IEG, is whose genesis is designed to train a large number of graduates to meet the ever increasing demands of the IT and ITES industry.

CPM functions as a "Gateway to corporate world" for perspective professional graduates by bringing awareness of skills and organizing campus placements.

Campus Placement Related Skills (CPRS): Modeling the students to the perspective of corporate community is the main objective.

Jawahar Internship Programme (JIP): this is to identify and reward talent, propagate the skills of the talented Jawahar Interns to the rest of the college.

SCCOPE

Sccope program is a combine initative from SONET, Govt of AP & CMC Ltd., Hyderabad
MITS is the nodel center for southern Andhra Pradesh.
In this program, The students are trained in various subjects of Computer Science such as C & Datastructures , C++, Java, Oracle, Dot Net, Software Engg., and also on Various aspects of interview process. The students are guided for their projects durning the final year.
