Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the most sought after branch at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science and is growing every year with respect to intake, faculty and infrastructure. The discipline holds good promise for students intending to pursue a full time career. The course is dynamic in content and enables students to grasp critical concepts with relative ease.

Dept Objectives:
w 100% pass in every subject by proactive mentoring of weak students.
w At least 70% of average marks in every subject ensuring through performance in unit tests and other forms of feedbacks from students.
w At least one student getting rank within the first 20 at university level by proactive mentoring of academically strong students.
w At least 80% project work of graduate students done in the department using hardware and software in the emerging areas.
w At least one technical paper published by every faculty member during a year.
w 5% of students every year to be sent out for technical paper presentation.
w 80% placement through campus selection.
w 30% students taking part in co- curricular and extra curricular activities.
w At least five lecturers every year should be deputed for attending short-term courses.

Laboratories:
Electrical Machines Lab, Controls System Lab, Electrical Measurement Lab, Simulation of Electrical Systems Lab, Network Lab and Power Electronics Lab.

Faculty:
The department has expert faculty with Masters Degree from prestigious institutions with specializations in Control Systems, Power Systems, Power Electronics and Drives.
